What is Vedic Astrology?
Vedic Astrology is the Western nomenclature for one of the limbs of the Vedas, Jyotish, the study of light.
We use Jyotish to examine our tendencies and patterns more clearly based on the placement of the planets at moment of birth. This galactic signature informs our path in life, including what we are supposed to do on this planet.
The basis of Vedic Astrology is centered around the idea that we are spiritual beings having a human experience, and that we repeat incarnation until we are fully realized, enlightened beings.
Steeped in rich vedic philosophy, Jyotish helps us to understand ourselves and live more purposeful, fulfilling lives.
Reiki is a Japanese word that is translated as Rei: universal spirit + Ki: life force energy flowing through all living things.
Reiki is a way to increase your lifeforce energy. This energy in some modalities is called Chi, in other Prana. When we connect to Reiki energy, we are connecting to an infinite source of vital life force energy. This energy is harnessed by the Reiki technique and channeled from source through practitioner to client.
Treatments often result in clients feeling lighter, with increased feeling of well being.
Missy received her training from one of 30 liscensed Reiki teachers in the world.

For each reading Missy sets the space by igniting Usui/Holy Fire III Reiki energy via the Reiki symbols.
For example, the distance Reiki symbol ensures that Reiki energy is infused throughout the reading any time in which you, the client, hears the words. This symbol also acts as a homing device to direct Reiki to the root cause of any issue directly affecting the client.
The Mental/Emotional symbol creates harmony, peace, and love. It works to heal emotional, relationship, balance, brain, and nervous system issues. It also works to help you change your habits. This energy is wildly helpful as you receive a reading.

Missy is a dedicated student of Vedic astrology. She is committed to honoring the wisdom of the ancient seers who originally channeled this sacred science as she develops her understanding of the practice.
Missy uses readings to help her clients understand their lives and path on this planet.
In addition to astrology, Missy is a Usui/Holy Fire III Reiki Master, 200 hour trained yoga teacher, and offers sound healing sessions using crystal bowls. She also works as a software consultant in the mental health space.
Her life's work is centered around radical self acceptance, empowering humans to cope with human existence, and make the most of their time here.
